Jeanie Edwards - Visual Artist and Printmaker
Jeanie was born and grew up in Tasmania. She is passionate about the island and its natural beauty.
Jeanie’s art practice grew out of her love for en plein air drawing and watercolour painting in Tasmania over the past 25 years. Today it centres on these passions and her engagement in the world of printmaking. The printmaking works figure across a number of methods including drypoint, etching and relief. Her plein air studies are often used as inspiration for her printmaking ideas and her watercolour work mostly depicts the Tasmanian landscape.
Jeanie is a committed member of the artist co op Quoll Artists Gallery as well as Hunter Island Press, The Colour Circle (Life member) and POGO art groups. Her work can be seen on Instagram @ jeanieedwardsart or contact Jeanie on phone 0439134989 or email [email protected]
